Our Plan for the Future
At Gene Isis Farms, we believe in building a future where food is fresh, local, and connected to the community. What started with microgreens and aeroponic herbs in Louisville is growing into a larger vision: a hub for healthy food, education, and empowerment. Here’s what’s next for us.
Phase 1: Strengthening Our Roots (2024–2025)
- Expand weekly microgreens and basil production for local restaurants and markets.
- Launch value-added products like Tulsi tea blends, artisan pesto, and fresh salad mixes.
- Build long-term partnerships with chefs, cafes, and retail markets across Louisville.
- Secure consistent delivery routes for wholesale and retail customers.
Phase 2: Farm Expansion & Community Engagement (2025–2026)
- Develop a geodome greenhouse for year-round production of greens and herbs.
- Host farm tours, volunteer days, and educational workshops on urban agriculture.
- Partner with local schools and nonprofits to teach youth about food systems and sustainability.
- Introduce subscription-based farm boxes for families and small businesses.
Phase 3: Healing, Education & Wellness Hub (2026–2028)
- Create a multi-use property with a farm, community space, and wellness studio for yoga, meditation, and farm-to-table events.
- Build a teaching kitchen for cooking demos and preserving classes.
- Expand herbal product lines to include teas, tinctures, and culinary herbs for retail and wholesale.
